Canary Island margeurite is a naturalized shrub found in northern coastal California and southern coastal California in disturbed coastal areas at elevations below 100 meters. Flowering from March to August, this plant produces white daisy-like flowers with yellow centers. Growing with fleshy, somewhat glaucous stems reaching up to one meter tall, it spreads in coastal disturbed environments. Its leaves are scattered or clustered at the base of flower stems, with blades 2 to 4.5 centimeters long and up to 3 centimeters wide, appearing slightly bluish-green. The fruit is small, measuring 2 to 4 millimeters in length.
