Flowering from April to June, this plant produces magenta flowers with a distinctive yellow throat and dark maroon patches at the mouth, creating a vibrant and striking appearance. Growing 2 to 25 centimeters tall with densely hairy stems, the plant has a delicate and compact form. Its leaves are elliptic to round, measuring 7 to 35 millimeters long and 2 to 15 millimeters wide, with an abruptly pointed tip. The small fruits, about 7 to 13 millimeters long, extend beyond the calyx, adding to the plant's unique botanical character.
