Mount eddy draba is a rare (CNPS 1B.3) California native perennial found in the Klamath Ranges, specifically in the Mount Eddy area of Trinity and Siskiyou counties, on rocky slopes at elevations of 2,000 to 2,750 meters. Flowering from June to July, this plant produces small, bright yellow flowers 5 to 7 millimeters long with delicate petals. Growing in loose tufts with short stems 3 to 12 centimeters tall, it forms a creeping caudex with distinctive branching. Its basal leaves are oblanceolate to obovate, 3 to 15 millimeters long, with hairy margins and petioles featuring short-stalked, two to four-rayed hairs. The plant produces elongated, flat fruits 1 to 2.3 centimeters long, containing 8 to 12 round, flat seeds.
