Leptosiphon floribundus
Many flowered linanthus
Family: Polemoniaceae · Type: perennial · Native
Many flowered linanthus is a California native perennial herb found in various California bioregions, growing in open grasslands and coastal meadows at elevations ranging from low to mid-elevation areas. Flowering from April to June, this plant produces delicate white flowers with yellow throats, creating small clusters with blossoms approximately 5 to 9 millimeters long. Growing with slender stems 10 to 30 centimeters tall, it develops a hairy or occasionally glabrous growth habit. Its leaves feature distinctive palmate lobes, typically three in number, each measuring 8 to 20 millimeters in length. The plant's funnel-shaped corolla and delicate flower structure make it a charming addition to California's native wildflower landscape.
